Guide to using the Subject Centre website
The English Subject Centre website has been designed to provide the easiest possible access to a large variety of teaching and learning resources that have been produced since its establishment in 2000. As with any large website, presenting information quickly and easily to you, the user, can be a challenge!
To make your journey through the site easier, we have divided our content into three distinct areas:
Explore
Is where you can literally 'Explore' the learning and teaching resources that have been created by Subject Centre staff , the English Subject Community and other partners. In this area you will find our main resource areas divided into Teaching , Policy & Curriculum areas, as well as our growing archive of teaching tips (T3)
Communicate
Find out about the English Subject Centre: who we are, what we do and how to contact us. You’ll find our news items and discussion forum too.
Find
This section of our site helps you to find information about teaching and learning either within the site or externally. There’s a quick and easy search for English departments, a directory of academics’ experience and interests, an advanced search facility for this website and help facilities.
Send us an email if there is any aspect of it which you would like explained.
