- The English Language Subject Benchmark
- The English Language Benchmarking group has now produced its final version. Given the rise in the number of English Language programmes, this will be of use to school leavers, teachers, academics, and employers.

- The linguistics pages of the LLAS website provide a range of resources useful to linguists including commissioned papers, events and links to relevant external organisations.
- English Language at undergraduate level: its identity as a subject in UK Higher Education in the 21st century
- This project provides an overview of 49 single honours English Language programmes considering the ways they are labelled, their relationship with other disciplines, their rationale, content and structure. It also identifies and discusses the preferred teaching and learning methods, and assessment procedures in these programmes. Finally, it explores marketing procedures and recruitment trends for these degrees.

- Educational Linguistics pages
- Richard Hudson’s Educational linguistics pages, as well as campaigning on behalf of the teaching of Language in schools contain a rich variety of links and resources.
- Committee for Linguistics in Education
- The committee exists to promote the teaching of Language and Linguistics, especially but not exclusively, in schools.
- Ling 131 - Language and Style
- Mick Short’s language and style pages, based on one of his modules at Lancaster, offer not only a ‘stylistics toolkit’, but cover all three major literary genres (poetry, prose and drama), and also other text-types, such as advertisements.
- Poetics and Linguistics Association (PALA)
- PALA is an international academic association for those who work in stylistics, poetics, and associated fields of language and linguistics. The Association is growing and now includes members from around fifty countries worldwide. It hosts an international conference each year, and sponsors seminars and symposia. The Association's journal, Language and Literature, is the foremost publication in the field.
