The Capital Centre

Who are we?

The CAPITAL Centre is a partnership between the University of Warwick and the Royal Shakespeare Company. It uses theatre performance skills and experience to enhance learning and draws on University research and resources to contribute to the RSC as a learning organisation.

 

What kind of activities are we involved in?

  • New undergraduate and postgraduate courses
  • Workshops and masterclasses with theatre practitioners
  • RSC/Warwick International Playwright in residence
  • Warwick/RSC Fellows in Creativity and performance
  • RSC Learning Network

How are we working with the English community?

Teaching Shakespeare - A recent English Subject Centre/CAPITAL Centre collaborative event

The Centre will foster a range of collaborations and disseminate as widely as possible, through conferences, symposia and roadshows,  the range of innovation, excellence and excitement provided by its core teaching and learning activities.
