Shakespeare projects

Shakespeare and the Bridewell Archives - (CILASS - Chichester)
This project involved the design of a module for students to study Shakespeare by means of independent research with the Elizabethan archives of the Bridewell Hospital  held at the Bethlem Royal Hospital Archives and Museum, Beckenham, Kent. Students encountered a vast store of memorable historical cases and actively (in groups of four) linked these cases to Shakesepare plays.

Digital Resources for Teaching & Discussion (English Subject Centre)
This collection of learning and teaching resources presents a number of ways in which digital resources can assist learning and teaching and is designed to stimulate discussion about the use of digital resources in the discipline.

King's College/ Globe Theatre Text & Playhouse MA - A Case Study
The English Subject Centre has conducted a Case Study of the Shakespeare Studies MA programme, Text and Playhouse, taught jointly by King’s College and the Globe Theatre as its contribution to the Generic Centre’s initiative to illustrate the link between teaching and research across several disciplines.
