Interdisciplinarity

Interdisciplinarity and On-Line Learning: Fiction in the Victorian and Edwardian provincial press (Teesside)
This project involves researching and creating a web-based module which concentrates on research and writing skills, helping students make the transition from A-level directed work to university self-directed study.

Dramatising Slavery & Emancipating Students: Learning Beyond the Classroom (CILASS - Central Lancashire)
Students researched historical characters involved in the transatlantic slave trade—including both perpetrators & victims –  to provide materials for a dramatic tableau to be made freely available online as a pedagogical resource.  The students developed the material through field trips to museums and historical sites, meetings with local historians, archivists and curators.
