- Creative Writing: using technology for on-screen and online workshopping (Bath Spa)
- This project will explore new and more flexible ways of workshopping in the Creative Writing classroom, involving on-line and on-screen sharing of documents in real-time with the tutor present. The aim is to increase the amount of interaction between the students and potentially transform the workshop paradigm by allowing greater flexibility in annotation and editing, and comparison among peers of their editing suggestions.

- Creative Writing Project Module (CILASS - Brunel)
- This project established a template for IBL in Creative Writing by piloting an innovative MA module in partnership with the local community of writers. Students were encouraged to find innovative ways to identify, engage and interact with their audience and worked in groups on projects related to creative writing in West London.

- Writing for Social Purpose - Ideas for Sustainable Teaching and Learning (CILASS - Brighton)
- This project offered students from different disciplines the chance to raise their social and historical consciousness and develop confidence in writing, research and presentation through collaborative IBL. Students produced a piece of socially conscious creative work alongside an introspective piece of writing, demonstrating knowledge of a variety of socially conscious genres and forms and of socio-historical contexts. Staff worked with interdisciplinary agencies to create innovative materials and workshops drawing on their own research interests in the field as well as networking with guest professionals.

- Creating a database for resources and articles related to the theory of pedagogy in Creative Writing (Gloucestershire)
- The project created a searchable online resource holding articles related specifically to the theoretical consideration of pedagogy in creative writing. The development of an online journal was the main focus of the work.

- This project explored “responsiveness” (critical understanding that responds to the needs of the “critic”), created a map of current understandings and a close examination of the nodes and modes of contact.

- Student responses to Creative Writing: Coherence, Progression and Purpose (Bath Spa)
- This project dealt specifically with courses involving English and Creative Writing. It recorded students' understanding of and responses to their courses as a whole, and addressed issues of coherence, progression and fitness for purpose from the point of view of those who have to make sense of the provision on offer.

- ORB - A Virtual Reality Literary Magazine (Hertfordshire)
- This project created an online Virtual Reality literary magazine, Orb, hosted in Second Life, that featured creative work by UK university students. The magazine's editorial and production boards was staffed by students and supervised by university staff members. The first issue launched on 23 October 2007.

- Creative Writing in relation to formal essay-writing skills and the understanding of literature (De Montfort)
- Using interviews and questionnaires as well as samples of student work, this project examined student perceptions of the way in which a Creative Writing component, taken in the first term of their university degree, provides skills which are relevant to the study of English Literature.

- This uncompleted pilot project aimed to select and contextualise key materials from within the TRACE online writing website to create a portal for HE teachers and researchers working with online writing, and made recommendations for development of the project beyond the pilot stage.
