(De) materialising the Early Modern Text: Early English Books Online in Teaching and Research

City: Bath
Venue: Bath Spa University
Date: 08 Sep 05 - 09 Sep 05
Time: 10:00
Event Overview:
Since 1998, Early English Books Online (EEBO) has given scholars and students instant access to over 125,000 early modern English books, changing the ways in which scholars and students study these texts. But exactly what impact has EEBO had on research and on teaching? This conference, organised in association with ProQuest, JISC and the English Subject Centre, was the first to focus specifically on EEBO as a teaching and research tool and was aimed at anyone studying, teaching or researching the early modern period or with an interest in the use of digital resources such as EEBO.
