Interfaces: English Studies and the Computer

City: Newcastle
Venue: University of Newcastle, Research Beehive - Room 2.21 (Old library building see map reference)
Date: 03 Nov 05 - 04 Nov 05
Time: 14:30 (03/11)
Event Overview:
This event is intended both for those who are just considering using a computer in their teaching and those who have been using them for years.

The entire event will form a part of the Good Practice Guide published by the English Subject Centre so maximum participation is vital.

The two days consist of both panels and discussions, presented and led by those currently engaged with how and why to use technology in the classroom. Participants and delegates are encouraged to attend both days so that the final discussion on Friday can provide a clear and full sense of what it is we do - and what we had hoped to do - when we bring together English Studies and the computer.

If you have just opened Powerpoint for the first time or are building your twentieth Virtual Learning Environment then this event is for you - it is a crucial space in which to share problems, solutions, ideas and innovations.
