Linking Teaching & Research - VRML ModelA 3d model of the Globe theatre is embedded in the page below. The model requires the plugin 'Cortona' for viewing 3D applications, you will be prompted automatically to download this plugin the first time you use this page. Accept the default settings and you will not be prompted again when you return to view the model. Once it has downloaded you will be presented with a birdseye view of the theatre. If you click on the forward arrow you will be presented with a series of views of the theatre. You can also move freely around the theatre using your mouse. Permission for use of this 3D simulation of the Globe theatre was given by the designer: Chris Dyer (Wimbledon School of Art & Honorary Associate Artist (Designer) , Royal Shakespeare Company) Cortona ® VRML Client - is a 1.2Mb download. If you are experiencing any difficulties you may wish to download the software yourself. |
