Our Discussion lists
The English Subject Centre hosts several email discussion groups. The lists enable networking and discussion on topics of current interest.
This is a general discussion list which publicises events related to teaching
and learning in English Literature, Language and Creative Writing. The list also
operates as a forum for discussion in the discipline. All e-mails to the list
that concern teaching and learning in English are welcome. To join this list,

Other lists

The list is primarily intended for academic staff teaching and researching
in English Language and Linguistics in universities in the UK. Members will
discuss current issues of interest and concern to the HE linguistics community.

A list for creative writers and researchers in creative writing in universities
and colleges, considering ideas and issues, and developing links between excellence
in creative writing practice in universities and the quality of the writing
arts, publishing and literary culture beyond. If you are interested in joining

The Area Studies Network is a discussion list
for teachers of all disciplines teaching on Area Studies and other interdisciplinary
programmes. To join the list fill in the online

the Area Studies Project of which the English Subject Centre is a partner.
