The English Subject Centre ceased operation on 31 July 2011. If you would like to find out more about the history and mission of the English Subject Centre, you might be interested in this article from the final issue of the Centre’s WordPlay magazine. This mission is now being continued by Dr Nicole King, as English Discipline Lead at the Higher Education Academy.
